The company is growing, which means more colleagues and clients visiting our office. We are looking for a great new colleague who can help make our office a cozy and pleasant environment for both colleagues and clients.
Catering Assistant
As a Catering Assistant, you will work closely with the colleague responsible for the company restaurant and be part of the Finance/HR/Facilities department. Fresh meals are prepared daily in our company restaurant, requiring thorough preparation beforehand.
The role of Catering Assistant is diverse, involving support for the company restaurant and keeping meeting rooms and pantries tidy across various departments within the building.
Additionally, we regularly host larger groups of clients at our office, sometimes during and after office hours. This requires extra assistance to ensure these clients feel as welcome as possible, where the Catering Assistant will also be involved.
For this position, we are looking for someone available for 20 hours per week, with flexibility to distribute hours over 5 days. Ideally, you can also be available for more hours as needed.
Your main tasks will include:
- Ensuring meeting rooms have clean glasses and water bottles
- Maintaining pantries: clearing dishes and cleaning coffee machines
- Supporting the company restaurant with lunch preparations and cleaning tasks
- Assisting with events for clients

As a Catering Assistant, you are a visible colleague within the building. Your service-oriented attitude and organizational skills ensure everyone can perform optimally. You are presentable, energetic, customer-focused, and proactive in completing tasks. You have an eye for tasks that need to be done and show initiative in executing them.
Additionally, we require:
- MBO-level education or equivalent
- Good communication skills in Dutch and English
